Fourth Quarter GDP Growth Overview
In the last quarter, the nation's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), adjusted for inflation, rose by 0.8% compared to the previous quarter. This marks an increase of 0.2 percentage points over the growth seen in the third quarter of 2025.
Looking at the factors behind this growth, domestic demand was responsible for a positive contribution of one percentage point to the quarterly GDP expansion. In contrast, external demand had a negative impact, subtracting 0.2 percentage points from growth.
Breakdown by Demand Components
- Household final consumption expenditure climbed by 1.0%.
- Government spending edged up by 0.1%.
- Gross fixed capital formation experienced a 1.7% increase.
- Exports of goods and services also showed a positive quarter-on-quarter trend.
