The market still expects two Fed rate cuts in 2026, with limited impact from the Waller nomination.
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, a research report from Shenwan Hongyuan stated that on January 30th in the East Eight District, Trump nominated Walsh as the next chairman of the Federal Reserve, causing significant fluctuations in the financial markets. However, the Walsh nomination event and the January Federal Reserve FOMC meeting did not have a major impact on expectations for interest rate cuts, and the market still expects the Federal Reserve to cut rates twice in 2026.
