Hong Kong Hosts INTERPOL Cybercrime Experts Group Annual Meeting for the First Time, Covering Topics Such as Virtual Asset Tracking
PANews, February 3rd—According to China News Service, Hong Kong hosted the annual meeting of the INTERPOL Cybercrime Expert Group for the first time. The meeting covered a range of topics including online extortion, artificial intelligence, and virtual asset tracing. Raymond Siu, Commissioner of the Hong Kong Police Force, stated that emerging trends in virtual asset-related crimes have been observed. Last year, a Virtual Asset Intelligence Working Group was established as a public-private partnership platform to jointly address technological challenges. The Hong Kong police have also developed a virtual asset tracing system that visualizes the investigation process of virtual assets and provides comprehensive support to investigators.
