Laser Digital, a subsidiary of Nomura Securities, lost $68 million due to crypto market volatility in October and November last year.
PANews, February 3rd – Dragonfly investor Omar stated that according to a report by Nomura Securities, its crypto division Laser Digital suffered losses of up to 10.6 billion yen (approximately $68 million). The losses were caused by “volatility observed in the digital asset market in October and November.” The CFO pointed out that Laser Digital previously held certain long positions, but has now taken measures to reduce risk exposure and further strengthen its risk management framework.
