Since November, this address has executed similar profit-taking operations at local lows five consecutive times, without reopening short positions, and has placed orders to take profit at a BTC price of around $76,200. Compared to its previous peak position of $136 million, the scale of its BTC short positions has now cumulatively decreased by about $120 million.
Currently, this whale still holds BTC short positions worth about $8.6 million, with unrealized profits reaching $3.65 million (850%), and an average price of $111,500. Since establishing this round of BTC shorts on May 9, this address has repeatedly engaged in swing trading by selling high and buying low. Recently, the strategy has clearly shifted to continuous reduction and profit locking, with funding rate settlements having already yielded about $10 million in profits.
