Glonghui, February 5th|MetLife announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of last year. Revenue increased by 27.5% year-on-year to $23.81 billion, falling short of analysts’ expectations of $27.22 billion. Adjusted earnings per share were $2.49, exceeding analysts’ expectations of $2.34. During the period, net investment income was $5.92 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%.
