Glonghui, February 5th|UOB Kay Hian holds a rather pessimistic view on the Stock Exchange of Thailand Index, pointing out that the market may cool down after its recent rebound. They added that uncertainty regarding the formation of the government after the February 8th general election could also trigger investor concerns. This may affect the approval and allocation of the budget, leading to delays in the implementation of stimulus measures. Companies are also releasing their fourth-quarter results, which may increase short-term pressure, especially in domestically focused sectors such as retail, where performance may be disappointing.
