According to CoinWorld, Novo Nordisk's stock price plummeted after the company unexpectedly released its 2026 performance forecast ahead of schedule. The company warned that sales could decline by 5% to 13%, a sharp contrast to the 10% growth expected in 2025. CEO Mike Doustdar pointed out that despite the strong market performance of its oral drug Wegovy, the company still faces adverse factors such as pricing pressure in the US market, patent expirations, and competition. The company's stock price fell about 18% in Copenhagen and 5.37% in New York.
