Jinse Finance reported that, according to Coinglass data, a certain exchange's Bitcoin premium index has remained in negative territory for 23 consecutive days, currently at -0.0878%. Since 2026, there have only been two days with a positive value: 0.011% on January 6 and 0.0023% on January 15. The Bitcoin premium index of this exchange is used to measure the difference between the Bitcoin price on a certain exchange (a major US trading platform) and the global market average price. A negative premium usually reflects greater selling pressure in the US market, a decline in investor risk appetite, heightened risk aversion sentiment, or capital outflows.
