With the market cooling and overvaluation, MetaDAO faces its first failed ICO project.
BlockBeats News, February 9, last weekend, Solana ecosystem launchpad MetaDAO experienced its first failed ICO project, Hurupay. The project was launched on February 3, 2026, with a minimum fundraising target of $3 million. In the end, only about $2,003,593 was raised (approximately 67% of the minimum target). As the minimum fundraising threshold was not met, MetaDAO announced the failure of this ICO, and all participant funds were refunded.
According to community feedback, factors contributing to the failure of this ICO included an excessively high project valuation, unclear team background, and significant changes to the fundraising terms.
