Chainlink Co-Founder Discusses Crypto Landscape: No Major Systemic Risks, On-Chain Asset Trend Accelerating
BlockBeats News, February 10, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov published a long post on X regarding the current state of the crypto market, stating that cycles are a normal part of the cryptocurrency industry. Importantly, these cycles reveal the degree of development in the industry, as well as how the next stage/adoption/value creation trends will define the sector. Currently, there have been no major risk management failures leading to the collapse of large institutions or the spread of systemic risk. This indicates that risk management in the crypto industry is much better this cycle compared to the previous one.
Sergey Nazarov also stated that regardless of price fluctuations, the trend of real-world assets being tokenized on-chain continues to accelerate. This shows that the tokenization of real-world assets is not closely tied to cryptocurrency prices, but rather has its own unique value. This value can grow independently of the market price of bitcoin or other crypto assets, and this trend will also fundamentally change the industry landscape.
