The U.S. Senate Banking Committee held a hearing today, during which Senator Mark Warner expressed his hope to advance the passage of the crypto market structure bill. U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Paul Atkins pointed out at the hearing that establishing long-term effective crypto policies requires legislative support, although the SEC has the authority to formulate relevant rules during the transition period.
