Bloomberg: Bitcoin stabilizes during Asian trading hours after Standard Chartered issues warning
BlockBeats News, February 13, according to Bloomberg, cryptocurrencies stabilized during Friday's Asian trading session. Previously, Standard Chartered Bank warned that bitcoin could weaken further, while the largest US cryptocurrency exchange turned to a loss in the fourth quarter.
Bitcoin is currently trading above $66,000, after having dropped 4% during the New York trading session to $65,118, the lowest level this week.
According to yesterday's report, Standard Chartered warned that BTC could fall to $50,000 before rebounding, and lowered its year-end target price to $100,000.
