PIMCO: Inflation report supports two Fed rate cuts this year
According to Golden Ten Data, ChainCatcher reports that Tiffany Wilding, an economist at Pacific Investment Management Company, stated that the inflation report is "quite encouraging on the surface," with two main positive developments. First, housing prices, which have been continuously rising since the outbreak of the pandemic, are now indeed slowing down. Second, the impact related to tariffs is gradually fading. As this trend subsides, the Federal Reserve should be more willing to cut interest rates, and Wilding believes that two more rate cuts this year are reasonable.
