Scroll community publishes proposal to "dissolve Security Council and transfer control"
Foresight News reported that the Scroll community has released a proposal titled "Dissolve the Security Council and Transfer Control." The proposal suggests dissolving the Security Council and transferring protocol control to the Scroll administrator's multi-signature wallet. Several DAO contributor roles are scheduled to be terminated on April 30, 2026. The Operations and Accountability Committees will be downsized based on current activity levels. The transition of the Security Council is a Scroll-led proposal that requires council approval for execution. Adjustments to contributor roles have been directly discussed with the Operations and Accountability Committees, which have been involved throughout the process. The Scroll Foundation has expressed its agreement with all the changes.
