Golden Ten Data reported on April 27 that Wedbush analysts stated in a report that the legal battle between xAI founder Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is not expected to have a profound negative impact on OpenAI, but could escalate into a brawl. The analysts anticipate that Altman will emerge from court “with scrapes and bruises” rather than facing any genuine threat to his CEO position. Meanwhile, both parties have already engaged in public confrontations on social media, and analysts expect that “there will be a lot of scandals and attacks in court.” The analysts pointed out that, with OpenAI expected to announce its IPO later this year, the overall impact of this lawsuit could still become a challenging issue for the company.
