Amazon integrates Alexa into shopping search bar

The new tool, called “Alexa for Shopping,” has replaced the previous shopping assistant bot Rufus. Rufus was mainly used to summarize product reviews and recommend items. The new search experience will be enabled by default for users in the United States, automatically triggered based on users’ search behavior, and will provide AI-powered answers and personalized recommendations for specific queries.
