Cosine from SlowMist: The attack on Transit Swap was caused by a legacy issue from an old contract on Tron in 2022.
Foresight News reports that SlowMist founder Yu Jian stated the Transit Swap theft was caused by legacy issues from its 2022 security incident, as an old version of a smart contract released early on Tron contained historical vulnerabilities. Although this old contract ceased to be used in 2022, attackers exploited it recently. The currently running Transit Swap smart contract is not affected.
