CME Group Plans to Launch Nasdaq Crypto Index Futures on June 8
On May 14, CME Group announced plans to launch Nasdaq Crypto Index futures on June 8, pending regulatory review. This product will be its first market capitalization-weighted futures contract, offering both micro and standard sizes, with cash settlement. The index measures the performance of the most traded and active cryptocurrencies, currently including Bitcoin, Ethereum, SOL, XRP, ADA, LINK, and Lumens (XLM).
