Toyota plans to invest $2 billion to build a new factory in Texas, USA

Gelonghui, May 15 — According to documents released by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts on May 14, Toyota has submitted an application seeking approval to build a new manufacturing plant in Texas. The plant will be located in Bexar County, with a total investment estimated at $2 billion. The upcoming factory is expected to create 75 new jobs. According to the application files, construction of the project will begin this year, is expected to be completed by 2029, and is planned to officially start production and operations in 2030.
