The NYSE Arca Gold Miners Index, which trades around the clock in global markets, fell by 6.84% to 2,526.03 points, posting a cumulative decline of 6.89% this week. The Materials Index, trading during US stock market hours, closed down 3.44% at 249.37 points, recording a cumulative weekly decline of 4.05%. The Metals & Mining Index, also trading during US stock market hours, closed down 4.37% to 268.81 points, with a cumulative weekly decline of 2.08%.
