ASML collaborates with Tata Electronics to advance India’s chip initiative

Golden Ten Data, May 17 – ASML has reached a cooperation agreement with Tata Electronics aimed at accelerating India’s goal of developing domestic chip manufacturing capabilities. According to a joint statement released by ASML and Tata Electronics on Saturday, the Dutch company’s technology will support Tata Electronics in building a 300mm (12-inch) semiconductor foundry in Gujarat. The signing of the memorandum of understanding coincides with Indian Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the Netherlands, which seeks to deepen bilateral relations.
