Jinse Finance reported that on May 19, German Finance Minister Lindner stated that G7 countries have various options to reduce their dependence on rare earths, and action is urgent. Lindner emphasized that G7 member states must improve procurement mechanisms and explore ways to expand production. He also proposed introducing recycling quotas and setting targets or requirements to recycle and reuse a certain proportion of key raw materials, such as rare earths.
