GoPlus Analysis: Echo Protocol attacker gains contract permissions and removes the original administrator rights
Foresight News reports that GoPlus has released an analysis of the Echo Protocol attack incident. The principle behind the attack was that the attacker’s address obtained the DEFAULT_ADMIN_ROLE and MINTER_ROLE permissions of the eBTC Token contract, removed the permissions from the original administrator address, and then directly called the mint function to mint 1,000 eBTC.
