As of the market close on that day, the July delivery light crude oil futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by $5.89, settling at $98.26 per barrel, a decrease of 5.66%. The July delivery Brent crude oil futures price on the London exchange dropped by $6.26 to close at $105.02 per barrel, down 5.63%.
