Bankless reportedly undergoes large-scale layoffs, co-founder announces the end of the first era
According to ChainCatcher, crypto community user @0x_Lucas disclosed on X that Bankless has recently reportedly laid off most of its team members without issuing a public statement or offering thanks to help the affected employees find new opportunities.
Meanwhile, Bankless co-founder Ryan Sean Adams posted on X stating that the first era of Bankless has come to an end, saying this marks the conclusion of his and David’s six-year journey exploring crypto, DeFi, and Ethereum together. @0x_Lucas criticized this, noting that the founders have not issued any public explanation regarding the layoffs and have instead individually posted unrelated content. As of now, Bankless has yet to officially respond to the layoff rumors.
