On May 21, Reuters reported that two sources indicated Iran's Supreme Leader has ordered that near-weapon-grade uranium must remain within Iran's borders. The Supreme Leader's directive reflects a consensus within the Iranian regime. Following this news, data from Bitget showed that both WTI and Brent crude oil prices rose by approximately $2, currently reported at $102.56 per barrel and $102.42 per barrel, respectively. Spot gold fell by over $20, now reported at $4516.52 per ounce.
