Circle CEO: cirBTC is about to launch, and users can now obtain it through the testnet Faucet
Foresight News reported that Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire tweeted that Circle Wrapped Bitcoin (cirBTC) will be launched soon. Users can now obtain cirBTC for testing through the testnet Faucet on Arc and Ethereum.
According to a previous Foresight News report, Circle will launch Circle Wrapped Bitcoin (cirBTC), a tokenized Bitcoin product backed 1:1 by native BTC, designed for institutional markets. cirBTC reserves can be independently verified on-chain in real time, making it suitable for OTC desks, market makers, lending protocols, and other institutional scenarios. The product will first launch on Ethereum and the Arc platform, with plans to expand to a multi-chain ecosystem in the future, and will be seamlessly integrated with Circle’s USDC, Arc, and Circle Mint to provide a complete end-to-end service.
