Reuters survey: The median forecast for the official cash rate at the end of the year is 2.75%
Gelonghui, May 22 | According to a Reuters survey, 14 out of 27 economists expect the Reserve Bank of New Zealand to raise the Official Cash Rate to 2.50% or higher by the end of the third quarter; the median year-end forecast for the Official Cash Rate is 2.75%. Among 29 economists, 28 expect the Reserve Bank of New Zealand to keep the cash rate unchanged at 2.25% on May 27.
