Glonhui May 22nd｜Nikkei 225 index closed up 1,654.93 points, an increase of 2.68%, at 63,339.07 points, marking a record closing high; Nikkei 225 index has risen 25.82% so far this year, ranking third among major global markets, only behind the Korea Composite Index and the Taiwan Weighted Index.
