Glonghui, May 27|TSMC (TSM.US) rose 1.6% in pre-market trading, quoted at $418.88. According to reports, supply chain sources revealed that TSMC plans to raise its 3nm process prices again in the second half of this year, with the increase reaching up to 15%; next year, prices may increase by another 5% to 10%. ASIC industry sources noted that as the AI server platform upgrade cycle begins in full, NVIDIA, AMD, Google, AWS, and several cloud service providers are rapidly adopting the 3nm process, driving a rapid surge in wafer demand. In addition, MSCI's latest semiannual adjustment will take effect after the close on May 29, with TSMC receiving the largest weighting adjustment in the MSCI Taiwan Index this time—a one-time increase of 0.56 percentage points, bringing its adjusted weighting to 58.33%. Market analysts say that as passive funds continue to flow back, TSMC may see a new wave of capital momentum.
