The consumption of raw copper is enormous, requiring annual purchases of about 1.9 million tons of both primary and recycled copper. Since the beginning of this year, international copper prices have continued to rise. As of 17:00 on the 27th, the London Metal Exchange (LME) copper price stood at $13,638/ton, remaining at a historically high level.
