According to ChainCatcher, a man in Florida, USA, has been arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately 1.9 million USD worth of Bitcoin by exploiting the seed phrase from a hardware wallet belonging to his former employer. Police stated that the unauthorized transfer of the stolen funds took place in 2020, when the suspect still had access to key security information.
