Foresight News reported that the DeFi protocol Fluid announced via Twitter that it has identified and contained a vulnerability targeting the off-chain Merkle reward distribution infrastructure. The official core protocol and smart contracts were not affected, and user funds are not at risk. The affected contract is not part of the core protocol infrastructure, is used only for reward distribution, and holds a very small balance. The team is currently investigating the incident and will release a detailed post-event report as soon as possible.
