Canada strongly promotes oil trade with the US ahead of bilateral trade officials' meeting

LeBlanc and Tim Hodgson met with leaders of Canada's oil and gas industry to discuss how to maintain the close ties of the energy market that "support jobs, economic growth, and energy security on both sides of the border." The attending companies noted that Canada and the United States have an opportunity to build further on their longstanding energy partnership to support competitiveness across North America, and outlined key priorities for the review of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
