Uniswap founder clarifies that the project was not incubated by the Ethereum Foundation, but is an independently funded external entity.
ChainCatcher reports that Uniswap founder Hayden Adams expressed his deep gratitude for the long-term funding and multifaceted support provided by Ethereum Foundation (EF). However, he specifically clarified that Uniswap was not incubated by EF; he himself participated as an external grantee with close personal ties to EF.
Previously, EF President Aya Miyaguchi and co-founder Vitalik Buterin both publicly shared their views on the future direction of Ethereum Foundation. Miyaguchi stated that part of the reason for proposing the EF Mission Framework at the end of last year was the issue of discussions straying from technical topics.
