A dormant Bitcoin wallet transfers 35.55 BTC after 12 years

According to a report by Bitcoin News, a Bitcoin wallet that had been inactive since 2011 transferred 35.55 BTC yesterday, valued at approximately 2.54 million US dollars. This action was intended to demonstrate that the wallet had not been abandoned. Previously, the wallet had been listed as a defendant in a New York lawsuit which claimed that nearly 3.8 million dormant Bitcoins constitute legally abandoned property. An American man and two companies filed the lawsuit, seeking ownership of more than 39,000 dormant Bitcoin addresses.
