Glonghui, June 3rd|Pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly has signed a licensing agreement worth up to $1.9 billion with biotech company Ascidian Therapeutics, aiming to develop new therapies for rare inherited kidney diseases. Eli Lilly will receive exclusive rights to apply Ascidian's RNA exon editing technology to certain undisclosed kidney disease targets.
