Survey Shows Middle East Situation Impacts Japanese Business Operations
On June 4, a recent survey conducted by the Tokyo Shoko Research Company, a Japanese private research institution, revealed that the ongoing tensions in the Middle East are negatively affecting the business activities of Japanese companies, with some bankruptcy cases linked to the situation. The survey results indicate that nearly 80% of the responding companies reported being impacted to varying degrees, and nearly half of the respondents believe that if the situation persists, they will have to reassess their business strategies.
