Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Plummets 5%
On June 5, U.S. semiconductor stocks collectively declined, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropping 5%. Among the component stocks, ON Semiconductor, Rambus, Marvell Technology, Arm, and Coherent fell over 6%, while Intel and KLA dropped over 5%. AMD, Micron Technology, Qualcomm, NXP, Texas Instruments, and ASML fell over 4%, TSMC dropped over 3%, and NVIDIA fell over 2%.
