A critical signal for XRP! Is a new breakout approaching?

A critical signal for XRP! Is a new breakout approaching?

The latest debate surrounding XRP has shifted away from bullish targets and is now centered on whether the current price structure can hold its ground. Market analyst Kaan Kaya argues that the main question is not about new peaks, but whether XRP can defend its current support level and if the all-important 1 dollar threshold will come back into play soon.

Weakness emerges in recent price action

Recent price movements have failed to inspire strong confidence among investors. Momentum has been weakening step by step, with upward reactions failing to convert into sustained rallies. Buyers have struggled to maintain their strength with each attempt, indicating that demand thins out as the price rises.

Instead of a clear upward trend, XRP is experiencing weaker recoveries and successive rejections. This pattern points to a fragile zone of compression for the cryptocurrency in the short term. Trading at roughly 1.10 dollars, XRP now faces a scenario where the 1 dollar mark is no longer just a distant possibility.

Kaan Kaya emphasizes that, for XRP, the discussion is no longer about reaching new highs but about preserving the existing structure. He points out that the possibility of a retest of the 1 dollar level within the next month should not be ruled out.

Narrow trading band may fuel volatility

XRP currently finds itself squeezed between weakening support and declining momentum within a narrow range. This situation leaves the price more vulnerable to small shifts in trading volume or changes in market sentiment. With such pronounced compression, there is little room left for indecision.

Broader market data adds another layer to this picture. Around 60 million dollars’ worth of open leveraged positions have recently been wiped from the books, indicating that some of the excessive speculative exposure in the market may have been cleared out.

Mixed technical indicators create uncertainty

Meanwhile, XRP’s weekly RSI data now points to oversold territory. In technical analysis, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is used to gauge the speed and magnitude of price movements. Historically, such levels have often signaled not prolonged declines, but potential reversal points.

Glossary: The RSI, or Relative Strength Index, is a technical indicator. Typically, readings below 30 are considered oversold, while readings above 70 point to overbought conditions; however, it is not sufficient by itself to determine market direction.

Despite this, longer-term scenarios have not been completely shelved. Some speculative projections in the market have been floating 17.50 dollars as a possible long-term target, tied to potential multi-year breakout patterns and a broader increase in liquidity.

However, in the short term, the most critical factor is not whether XRP will fall to 1 dollar, but how it reacts at that key level. A robust influx of buyers at 1 dollar could restore market confidence and validate underlying demand. Conversely, a weak response could pave the way for a deeper and potentially prolonged correction.

Is a new wave of sell-offs approaching? The ultimate rival of the AI bull market emerges—The "global anchor of asset pricing" breaks through the 5% super threshold

After the 10-year US Treasury yield breaks back above the critical 5% mark, it is more likely to usher in a period of high-level tug-of-war and accelerated asset differentiation. Especially before energy shocks and the significantly eased large-scale expansion of the US fiscal deficit, the conditions to quickly replicate the sharp yield decline seen at the end of 2023 are not yet fully in place.

Anthropic releases another article: What will the economy look like in the AI era?

Anthropic's economics team has released an AI economic scenario model, centered around three scenarios: moderate and gradual growth, transformative changes with GDP doubling, and an extreme situation with 15% annual growth but massive job losses among knowledge workers. The model treats work as "bundles of tasks" and analyzes AI’s enhancement and substitution effects on different types of tasks. Anthropic emphasizes that the economic outlook for 2030 is not predetermined; the key lies in how the dividends from AI are widely shared.

"New Federal Reserve News Agency": Waller's Rate Hike "Has No Way Back", Trump's "Trust" Faces Test

Nick Timiraos believes that after the higher-than-expected August CPI, the probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates this week has surged, while Waller’s hawkish stance on inflation has left himself almost "no leeway." With seven weeks before the election, whether or not Waller raises rates will directly test how long Trump's “trust” in him can last. Previously, Waller maintained a balance between the White House and the Federal Reserve by “talking less and avoiding provocation,” but after this meeting, silence will no longer serve as his shield.
