Bitwise CEO: Crypto Investors Should Take a Long-Term View, Focus on Fundamentals Over Short-Term Volatility

BlockBeatsBlockBeats2026/06/08 04:04

BlockBeats News, June 8th, Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley stated that participants in the crypto industry should "take a longer-term perspective." Unless they are short-term traders, investors should not focus too much on weekly or monthly price fluctuations.

Instead, the focus should be on two aspects: the substantive progress of the project itself and the performance on a longer-term annual basis. This includes on-chain usage, technological progress with product-market fit, integration of major corporations and institutions in the field, development and implementation progress, as well as core factors such as team quality and execution ability.

Although the market will not follow a linear development path, from 2022 to 2026, the industry fundamentals are continuously and significantly improving. Investors should recognize that this is a long-term process, and the ultimate outcome will be determined by fundamentals.
