Bank of America raises CPU market size forecast due to AI demand, and increases price targets for AMD, ARM, and Intel
BlockBeats News, June 11th. Bank of America has raised its server CPU market size forecast, stating that AI demand will be a key driver. BofA analyst Vivek Arya stated that driven by Agentic AI demand, Bank of America has raised its total potential market size forecast for server CPUs in 2030 from $125 billion to over $170 billion. He believes that AI systems capable of planning and executing multi-step tasks will further increase CPU usage beyond accelerators.
Bank of America has also raised its price targets for AMD, ARM, and Intel, citing enhanced long-term semiconductor growth prospects and continued chip demand expansion.
