China Coal Energy: Commodity coal sales in May reach 21.87 million tons, up 0.4% year-on-year

From January to May, the cumulative output of commercial coal was 51 million tons, down 9.4% year-on-year; cumulative sales were 98.31 million tons, down 8.1% year-on-year. Among them, sales of self-produced commercial coal were 10.51 million tons, down 10.6% year-on-year. In the coal chemical business, polyethylene output was 67,000 tons, up 39.6% year-on-year; polypropylene output was 65,000 tons, up 58.5% year-on-year; urea output was 136,000 tons, down 26.9% year-on-year; methanol output was 141,000 tons, down 16.6% year-on-year; ammonium nitrate output was 39,000 tons, down 35.0% year-on-year. Output value of coal mine equipment was 480 million yuan, down 42.2% year-on-year.
