A return rate of 41.93% emerges as Turkey issues bonds again, attracting nearly 7.6 billion lira

⑴ Before increasing the issuance of its fixed coupon bond maturing on March 15, 2028, the Turkish Ministry of Treasury made a non-competitive bid of 4 billion lira to primary dealers. ⑵ The total amount of non-competitive bids prior to the bond increase reached 8.3249 billion lira, while sales to national institutions totaled 20.6 billion lira. ⑶ The Turkish Ministry of Treasury ultimately succeeded in increasing the issuance of the fixed coupon bond maturing in March 2028 at a yield of 41.93%, raising a net amount of approximately 7.5962 billion lira.

The Federal Reserve pauses RMP bond purchases for the second consecutive month, with bank reserves remaining in an ample range.

The Federal Reserve announced that during the next monthly cycle ending on October 14, the New York Fed's Open Market Operations Department will not conduct any U.S. Treasury purchases for Reserve Management Purposes (RMP). During this period, approximately $15.6 billion in reinvestment purchase operations will be executed. As of September 9, the U.S. banking reserve balance stood at $3.04 trillion, higher than the year-to-date average level of $3.01 trillion.
