The Nikkei 225 Index fell by 0.1% to 69,268.36 points. Technology and financial stocks led the decline. SoftBank Group dropped 2.8%, while Nomura Holdings fell 2.1%. After US President Trump stated that the Strait of Hormuz will be fully opened on Friday, investors are closely watching crude oil prices. The Bank of Japan’s interest rate decision, scheduled to be announced later on Tuesday, is also attracting significant attention.
