News: SK Hynix rumored to list on US stock market via ADR, possibly as early as July
According to a report by Korean media outlet The Elec today, Korean company SK Hynix has entered the final stage of its ADR (American Depositary Receipt) listing process and is expected to begin trading as early as July this year.
According to industry sources, SK Hynix has completed the key steps for its ADR listing, having held non-deal roadshows with overseas institutions earlier this month, and is currently awaiting final approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
If SK Hynix obtains SEC approval, it is likely to officially debut on the Nasdaq market after mid-July, earlier than the market's previous consensus expectation of August.
Investment bankers predict that SK Hynix may officially announce this news in late July (during the release of its Q2 financial results). If the financial performance is strong, it could attract attention from U.S. investors and increase the company's valuation.
