CME Group CEO Duffy to become Executive Chairman, current President to take over as CEO

Gelonghui, June 17｜CME Group announced the appointment of internal executive Lynne Fitzpatrick as the new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding long-serving CEO Terry Duffy, who will assume the role of Executive Chairman. Duffy, who has led CME Group for over 25 years, will step down on March 1 next year. CME Group stated that Fitzpatrick, currently President and Chief Financial Officer, will also join the company’s board of directors after assuming the CEO position.
