CICC: The forecast that the Federal Reserve will neither raise nor cut rates this year remains unchanged
According to ChainCatcher, Jinse Finance reported that a research note from CICC stated the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged at its June meeting, in line with market expectations. The most significant change in this meeting was a major simplification of the monetary policy statement, with the removal of forward guidance, aiming to reduce intervention in the market. CICC indicated that no rate hikes or cuts are expected for the remainder of the year, but warned of a rising risk of rate hikes next year, especially if the U.S. economy continues to strengthen.
