KOSPI Index surpasses 9,000 points for the first time, SK Hynix soars over 7% to a new all-time high

Glonghui, June 18｜The South Korean stock market saw gains expand further, with the KOSPI index rising nearly 2% to surpass the 9,000-point mark for the first time, reaching 9,040.52 points and hitting a new all-time high. The cumulative year-to-date increase widened to 114%. Among individual stocks, SK Hynix rose over 7% to 2,701,000 KRW, also hitting a record high with a 314% cumulative gain this year.
